PNW

Dear Society of Innovators Members and Friends:

Innovation2018_AmeliaEarhardtIt’s official. You can’t keep a great idea down, so we’re celebrating. You may have thought The Society of Innovators was history, but instead, we’re making history! You are invited to this historic event.

Please join us at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 25th at the Venue of Horseshoe Casino, Hammond, as we re-launch of The Society of Innovators (S0I). As a supporter of innovation, we want you to celebrate this milestone with The Society of Innovators and Purdue University Northwest. The evening will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, both before and after the program, with a cash bar.

We are stronger, bigger, more engaged, and have new leadership with an expanded vision. There are two objectives for our gathering:

  1. Celebrate the SOI: past, present and into the future; engage our members; reaffirm our belief that ‘anyone can be an innovator,’ and emphasize that SOI is critical to the success of Northwest Indiana.
  2. Engage SOI Members and other leaders to support and participate in The Society, for educational opportunities, networking and to increase opportunities for new programming. This action will expand innovation as a driver of community and economic development with the educational and research capabilities of PNW and its faculty.

You will also learn about this new partnership and how it will strengthen SOI, our Members, the University, and our Region. These expanded opportunities will promote a culture of innovation along with deepening both the Society’s and PNW’s impact on the economic, social and cultural well-being of Northwest Indiana. Our event will include a panel discussion of SOI innovators where you will have the opportunity to “Ask an Innovator!”
