ArcelorMittal and Ivy Tech Community College are hosting an Innovators Café involving The Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana on Thursday, September 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Café will be located at ArcelorMittal’s Global Research and Development Center in East Chicago, Ind. where lunch will be provided.
This year marks the 22nd Café sponsored by the Gerald I. Lamkin Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center with the Society of Innovators of Ivy Tech. The theme of the event is “Steel is our Future” and it will revolve around the attendees discovering how equipment and process simulators are used in steel research. The researchers at ArcelorMittal will provide information about new steel products and solutions.
This event is meant to showcase the innovative styles with which people, businesses and institutions of Northwest Indiana have established in steel utilization and manufacturing. Seating will be limited, so early registration is encouraged.
